The Pit and the Pendulum - Rap Song
A fun rap about Edgar Allen Poe's short story "The Pit and the Pendulum." You can read the original text by Poe or watch/read this remix of the classic poem. "The Pit and the Pendulum" is one of Poe's most famous works: a story full of suspense but not of plot. In fact we know very little about the characters in the story. The story has a claustrophobic feel to it that matches the main character's own predicament as he tries to survive the tortures of the pit and the pendulum.
