The Magic School Bus The Busasaurus - Dinosaurs
In the TV show "THE BUSASAURUS," Ms. Frizzle takes the class to a dinosaur dig, courtesy of her old school chum, paleontologist Dr. Carmina Skeledon. To complete the field trip, they travel back in time - 67 million years - to see what dinosaurs were really like! Arnold's fossilized egg, put in his care by Dr. Skeledon, is snatched by a dinosaur and he ends up squaring off with a T-Rex. To their relief, the class finds out that even the fiercest dino's prefer flight to fight. (22:00)
The Magic School Bus "Lost in Space" - The Solar System
Arnold's know-it-all cousin Janet drives the whole class crazy when she joins Ms. Frizzle's class on a field trip and gets them lost in outer space! But when the navigational system breaks down, and Ms. Frizzle "accidentally" gets lost in the solar system, Janet may be the only one with enough knowledge to save them! (22:00)
The Magic School Bus Goes Upstream - Migration
Ralphie is wondering what happened to all the salmon. They need them for the school fish fry, but they aren't here. The Friz has decided to take the class on a field trip to find out. She turns the bus into a salmon and puts a compact disk in the bus that makes it think like a real salmon, so it will go wherever Ralphie's salmon went. However, when the bus starts migrating, Ralphie changes his mind about doing anything to find out what happened to the salmon. He and some kids in the class attemp

Archaeology of the Holy Land
In an "Office Hours" conversation, Duke University Professor Eric Meyers says archaeology in Israel and Palestine can give context for biblical narratives. In his new book, "Alexander to Constantine," co-authored with Mark Chancey, Ph.D. '99, he argues that Hellenistic culture gave Judaism, and later Christianity, a vehicle for worldwide expression.
