La sombra del viento es una novela de intriga escrita por el autor Carlos Ruiz Zafón y publicada por primera vez en el año 2001.
La trama se desarrolla en la Barcelona de la primera mitad del siglo XX. El padre de Daniel Sempere es librero y en 1945 decide mostrarle un secreto: el cementerio de los libros olvidados. No podrá hablar de este sitio a nadie, pero puede escoger un libro y llevárselo. (aprox. 1 minuto)
