This video explains how to apply comma rules. It describes that commas must be used to separate items in a series, set off non-essential information or introductory clauses, and link independent clauses to independent clauses. Commas must also be used to coordinate adjectives, set off quotations, link dependent clauses to dependent clauses, and separate words in common conventions. (5:57)
This video explains the rules for using a semicolon in a sentence. Semicolons are used in place of a period to separate two independent clauses that are joined without a conjunction. A semicolon is also used to separate a list in which an item includes a comma and before an adverb that joins two independent clauses. (4:18)

This video explains the rules for correctly using quotation marks in writing. Quotation marks are a type of punctuation used around direct quotations and titles of short works. When using quotations, it is important to remember that punctuation generally goes inside of quotation marks. If there is a quote within a quote, single quote marks should be used. When citing quotations, the parenthetical citation should be placed after the quotation mark. (5:06)
