Optional Soil Moisture Sensor Protocol
The purpose of this resource is to measure the water content of soil based on the electrical resistance of soil moisture sensors. Students install soil moisture sensors in holes that are 10 cm, 30 cm, 60 cm, and 90 cm deep. They take daily readings of soil moisture data by connecting a meter to the sensors and using a calibration curve to determine the soil water content at each depth.

Two Particle Elastic Collision Model
The EJS Elastic Collision Model allows the user to simulate a two-dimensional elastic collision between hard disks. The user can modify the mass, position and velocity of each disk using the sliders. Both disks are draggable and the center of mass is shown a a cross in the simulation.
Optical Resolution Model
The EJS Optical Resolution model computes the image from two point sources as seen through a circular aperture such as a telescope or a microscope. The simulation allows the user to vary the distance between the light sources and the diameter of the aperture, as well as the intensity of the light source.
