This is a third edition of the Electron Microscopy and Analysis textbook, which was published by Taylor and Francis Books UK in 2001 (ISBN 0748409688). It deals with several sophisticated techniques for magnifying images of very small objects by large amounts - especially in a physical science context. Issues with re-using medical images in UK HE settings: an OER view
Presentation by Suzanne Hardy, Senior Advisor (Information)(November 2009) at JISC Medical Images Workshop, London. The Higher Education Funding Council for England (HEFCE) announced an initial £5.7 million of funding for pilot projects that will open up existing high-quality education resources from UK higher education institutions to the world. The Higher Education Academy and JISC are working in partnership to deliver 12-month pilot projects - formally launched in April 2009.
