He wears flowing robes with a serene expression, long earlobes and tight curls surmounted by a domed usnisa. His facial features are roughly painted in black.

The back of the stele is arched and curves forwards at the top. The larger upper register of the stele shows the Buddha Amitabha standing barefoot on a low lotus plinth and surrounded by an incised nimbus, aureole and flames. He wears a high-domed usnisa and long flowing robes. His right hand is raised to shoulder height with the palm of the hand facing outward and the fingers
