The camel has a raised head, tilted slightly to one side with mouth open. An incised saddle-cloth surrounds the two humps on the camel's back and the tail is curled around the hindquarters to the left. The saddle and body are streaked in fine crazed glazes of green, yellow and brown in sancai style over a white slip. The legs have been broken
