Peg Puzzle - A Virtual Manipulative
This virtual manipulative is the classic logic peg puzzle.
The goal of the puzzle is to switch the pegs on the left with the pegs on the right by moving one peg at a time.
Move pegs by clicking and dragging them to open slots. A peg may only be moved to an open slot directly in front of it or by jumping over a peg to an open slot on the other side of it. You may not move backwards. The game ends when you win or get stuck.
Play versions of this game with different number of pe
Ladybug Leaf - A Virtual Manipulative
Program a ladybug to hide behind a leaf. This virtual manipulative provides an environment similar to the Logo programming environment that allows you to create, try out, and revise plans (programs). There are more instructions to the right of the manipulative.
Ladybug Mazes - A Virtual Manipulative
Ladybug Mazes – Program a ladybug to move through a maze. This is a little similar to the other virtual manipulative, Ladybug Leaf. There are instructions to the right of the manipulative.
Transformations - Reflection - A Virtual Manipulative
With this virtual manipulative you can create objects with pattern block pieces and explore Reflections as transformations of the plane.
When the manipulative loads, a triangle and its reflection are already placed in the workspace. There are more instructions to the right of the manipulative.
Transformations - Rotation - A Virtual Manipulative
With this virtual manipulative you can create objects with pattern block pieces and explore Rotations ("Turns") as transformations of the plane. There are more instructions to the right of the manipulative.
Transformations - Translation - A Virtual Manipulative
With this virtual manipulative you can create objects with pattern block pieces and explore Translations ("Slides") as transformations of the plane. There are more instructions to the right of the manipulative.
Transformations - Dilation - A Virtual Manipulative
With this virtual manipulative you can create objects with pattern block pieces and explore Dilations of the plane. There are more instructions to the right of the manipulative.
Isometric Geoboard - A Virtual Manipulative
Geoboard - Isometric – Use this virtual geoboard to illustrate three-dimensional shapes. There are more instructions to the right of the manipulative.
Iterative Fractals - A Virtual Manipulative
Using this virtual manipulative you may draw any of six iterative fractals. Each is created by using a random probability process. There are directions to the right of the manipulative.
Platonic Solids - A Virtual Manipulative
A Platonic solid is a polyhedron whose faces are identical regular polygons. The ancient Greeks were able to show that there are exactly five such Platonic solids. This virtual manipulative allows you to display, rotate, and resize Platonic solids. It also allows you to select vertices, edges, and faces, and observe that the number of vertices minus the number of edges plus the number of faces is always equal to 2 (Euler's formula).
Platonic Solids - Slicing - A Virtual Manipulative
Discover shapes and relationships between slices of the platonic solids. This virtual manipulative displays a Platonic solid on the left and on the right the outlined cross-sectional slice formed by a plane cutting through the solid. There are more instructions to the right of the manipulative.

Venn Diagrams - A Virtual Manipulative
This virtual manipulative represents three sets as overlapping circles. You can use it to represent set operations such as intersections, unions, and subsets.
The goal for each exercise is to shade the portion of the diagram corresponding to the given set.
You may begin by shading one or more entire sets (A, B, or C) and then clearing portions. When you have only the desired portion shaded, click the Check button.
There are more instructions to the right of the manipu
