Killdeer are birds, and they lay eggs just like all other birds do. Killdeer lay their eggs on the ground, in gravel, on rooftops, or wherever the splotchy pattern of the eggs may be hidden best. The eggshells are hard for added protection.

Clinical history: He suffers from a significant dysarthria, as well as tremor and ataxia.
