Marcus was previously an Associate Director at Richard Rogers Partnership, whom he joined in 1982, before forming FLACQ in 2003. While at RRP Marcus was part of the landmark Lloyds of London Building design team between 1982 and 1988, being site architect for the final 3 years. He has also worked on the 15 storey Reuters Data Centre on the Isle of Dogs (1992).
