Babylon5 Magazine Updates |
This page contains updates for upcoming editions of the Titan Babylon 5 Magazine. The magazine was originally only available in the UK and Eire, but a deal has recently been reached to supply it worldwide through the B5 Emporium at the Fan Club's site.

Issue 4 features an exclusive interview with Claudia Christian and features on the making of the fourth season episode _Atonement_, plus the continuation of an all-new comic strip by J. Michael Stracyznski concerning the final fate of Babylon 4 and Valen.
Issue 5 features interviews with Peter Jurasik, Turhan Bey, Damian London and Majel Barret Roddenberry, plus a feature on how the Centauri 'look' was created.
In addition to the free Babylon 5 CCG card featuring Lyta Alexander, courtesy of Precedence, Issue 6 features interviews with Walter Koenig, Patricia Tallman and Josh Cox and a special feature on the history of one of Babylon 5's darkest aspects, the Psi Corps.
Issue 7 begins a series of in-depth guides to the making of the first ever Babylon 5 TV movie, "In the Beginning", with diary-style reports on the making of the film, interviews from the set and special features on various aspects of the film's production, from start to finish. the features will include exclusive pictures and behind the scenes designs that will be seen first in Babylon 5 Magazine! Mira Furlan ("Delenn") and the Minbari are featured in the issue.
Issue 8 is now out, featuring Bill Mumy as Lennier on the cover. There's an interview with Bill Mumy, a description of how the Minbari makeup is created, a word-portrait of Lennier by Stoddard Hayes, and an insight into how the designs for the Minbari were done. Among the other features are an interview with Julie Caitlin Brown, in which she discusses the return of Na'Toth, a preview of two more season five episodes, and the final part of the "In Valen's Name" strip. The news of Babylon 5's return to Channel 4 in the UK came too late to be included, although there is a "Back on TV!" cover flash.
In all there were 9 issues in the first volume.
Issue 2 of volume 2 was in a larger page size but at a matching cover price of just under 5 pounds. This issue features President Sheridan on the cover.

Featured an interview with Pat Tallman.
Issue 5: Shipped 5 October 98
Features an exclusive interview with Peter Woodward and includes exclusive
pictures of the actor as he appears in the B5 television movie "A Call to
Arms".
Issue 6: Shipped 2 November 98
As Babylon 5 ends and Crusade begins, we go back to the heady days of the
early Nineties and the origins of J. Michael Straczynski's show, with
exclusive pictures and designs from the first episodes of Babylon 5.
Issue 7: Shipped 7 December 98
As the only journalist on set for its entire shoot in 1997, Joe Nazzaro
brings us a complete feature on the making of "Sleeping in Light" - the last
episode in the B5 arc.
Issue 8: Ships 3 January 1999
Let the countdown to Crusade begin! Features a new interview with Jason
Carter ("Marcus"), and the first of a two-part feature on the fourth
TV movie, "A Call to Arms".
Issue 9: Ships 1 February 1999
A new interview with Tracy Scoggins ("Capt. Lochley"); the second part
of the "A Call to Arms" feature, and an extract from the second Psi Corps
novel, "Deadly Relations".
Issue 10: Ships 4 March 1999
Will feature especially comments from viewers at the end of the main
B5 series.
