Type location Lebanon (Monomorium salomonis ssp
subopacum var phoenicia, Emery, 1908h: 677; raised
to species Collingwood, 1985: 272, illustrated; Agosti &
Collingwood, 1987a: 55) - North Africa & Middle East.
According to Collingwood (1985) has the same longitudinal groove
on the propodeum as abeillei (see above).
