An early stage research training programme

The GALTRAIN Network was established as a Marie Curie consortium of 6 institutions in the United Kingdom, Germany and the Netherlands in 2006. The aim of the network is to provide early stage research training in the causes for the rise in asthma and allergic diseases in the developed world.

GALTRAIN researchers have individually designed training plans made up of multi-disciplinary training units including epidemiology, immunology, structural chemistry, animal and human models of allergy and clinical trial design, combined with periods of time spent in the laboratories of other partners.
