Introduction Welcome to the official website for the SMALL ITN, a European Commission Framework 7 Marie Curie Initial Training Network. SMALL represents 'Surface for Molecular Recognition at the Atomic Level' and is focussed on training 22 PhD students across 11 different institutions in cutting edge nanoscience, chemistry, physics and theoretical methods. To find out more about the research studentships available please click on one of the project titles in the list on the right, or visit our vacancies page. News May 2010 Over the next few months you will notice the list of available PhD positions reduce as we recruit Marie Curie fellows to the network. To find out more about the research that will be carried out within the network, and to find out who is involved, please visit the 'research' page. Download the A4 pdf flyer for the SMALL-ITN network by clicking here or on the icon above left (opens in a new window). FP7 Marie Curie Actions and Eligibility To find out more about Marie Curie Actions under Framework 7 please visit the Marie Curie Actions website. The underlying principle of this Marie Curie Action is the training and mobility of early stage researchers. Therefore there are some eligibility criteria. Please make sure that you meet these criteria before applying for any of the PhD research studentships that we have available.
Eligibility examples can be found on the Marie Curie website. |
