Lockers

Look at these old lockers.

Once they all had numbers. But now some of the numbers have come off.

Try to work out what numbers were on all the lockers.

This is how the lockers looked before the numbers fell off.

How do the numbers change as they go up and down?










Here are some different lockers with numbers missing.

Try to fill in the missing locker numbers.

5. Choose one of the sets of lockers on the last page and describe all the patterns you can find that are made by numbers on the lockers.

Now describe the patterns you noticed.










6. Suppose more numbers had fallen off the lockers. Is it possible to figure out the locker numbers in this example?

If YES - write your solution in the boxes.

If NO - explain why you cannot solve the problem with the information.
