I have undertaken my BA (2011), MA (2012) and PhD (2017) in the School of English at the University of Nottingham, specialising in eighteenth and nineteenth century literature.
My expertise includes editing letters of eighteenth and nineteenth century individuals and the study of sociability. My PhD was a selected edition of the correspondence of the banker-poet Samuel Rogers (1763-1855), and I continue to transcribe and edit his letters, which number over six hundred. I am currently working on publishing these.
I have undertaken extensive studies on the eighteenth and nineteenth century literary marketplace and publishing as commercialism, including interactions between authors and political figures.
