Current Research

I am currently working on my PhD project, employing qualitative research techniques in order to explore how lay publics make sense of emerging discourses on antimicrobial resistance as an environmental issue.

Past Research

I am primarily a social scientist with expert knowledge of cultural and sociological theory.

I have employed quantitative and qualitative research techniques in order to analyse some of the important issues that we face, including the mainstream media's coverage of immigration, war and climate change.

As part of my MA in public sociology, I worked for Nottingham City Homes as researcher to help identify the needs and expectations of older local residents over the next 10 years.
