Expertise Summary

I am a freshwater ecologist and palaeolimnologist focusing on assessing contemporary and long-term environmental change in aquatic ecosystems. I am particularly interested in reconstructing the impact that humans, invasive species, and climate change have had on freshwater environments over the last centuries. My academic focus is on regions of tropical America and southeast Asia. Since 2020 I have been an ECR on a UKRI GCRF Hub "Living Deltas", working closely with collaborators and stakeholders in India, Bangladesh, and Vietnam.
