Biography

I joined the University of Nottingham in 1987 following fourteen years at what was then Trent Polytechnic. I have held a number of positions in Pharmacy during my time here, plus a two and a half year secondment to the Faculty of Science and Engineering at the University of Nottingham Ningbo China.

Expertise Summary

My main roles in the School are:

• Responsibility for Health and Safety and Security within the School to the Director of Operations.
• Management of the facilities in the two main buildings and represent the School as the major stake-holder in the Centre for Bimolecular Sciences Building.
• Responsible for provision of Induction Training and other specific safety training at all levels of academic, technical and administration staff.
• Working with the School's Safety Committee, design, implement and monitor safety management systems and policy for the School of Pharmacy.
