Postgraduate Research Student and Part-time Teacher,
Shian Yin is currently pursuing a PhD degree in Social Work at the University of Nottingham. The project is related to "Transition to adulthood for young people leaving care system in China." He earned both a bachelor's and master's degree in Social Work when he was studying in China. His research interest is concerned with child & youth development, child protection, alternative care, child care system, life course theory and resilience.
