Entry requirements

Our admission process recognises that applicants have a wealth of different experiences and may have followed various educational pathways. The following pages will provide information on entry requirements, alternative qualifications, information for mature students and contextual offers. If you can’t see what you are looking for or require further information, please make an enquiry to discuss your qualification and whether you meet our entry requirements.

Information for your Country

Our campuses are home to students from over 150 countries worldwide. Check these webpages to find information for students from your country including guidance on entry requirements, scholarships, contact details and overseas representatives for many of the countries and regions where our students come from.

English Language Requirements

EU and International students whose first language is not English will need to have an appropriate score in an approved English language examination. These webpages will provide more details on the qualifications that we can accept and the minimum English language requirements.

Discover our pressional courses at the Centre for English Language Education (CELE) for students looking to improve their English level for their academic course.

Work experience

Please see below for information related to work experience.

Foundation courses

Our foundation programmes are designed for talented applicants who are not eligible for direct entry to an undergraduate course. A foundation year enables you to gain the subject-specific knowledge and skills required to embark onto degree-level studies.
