The Department of Health strongly recommends that all students register with a doctor whilst studying at the University. The University of Nottingham is able to offer students the opportunity to register with its Health Centre on the University Park campus. The practice offers a full range of general medical services, including contraception, cervical smear screening, travel vaccinations, minor surgery, child health surveillance and maternity services.
Visit the University of Nottingham Health Service webpages for further details about the service and information for new patients.
All first-year students are invited to attend the registration sessions during the first week of term held in the Great Hall and Senate Chamber in the Trent Building at the times listed in this information leaflet (students should be prepared to spend at least thirty minutes to complete Health Centre registration).
Our department of Student Services have put together a great deal of information for students to help educate and assist students with many health related issues during their studies. This information is contained in the health section of Student Services web pages.
