Moving into catered halls on University Park and Jubilee Campus

What to bring

  • View our useful checklist for more advice on what to bring.  Your Hall will contact you by email at least two weeks before intake weekend with further information including your room number. 
  • You will have pantry facilities for hot drinks, microwave meals and snacks, and a fridge in your room, so you can bring your own mugs and drinks and snacks. In catered halls, you have your food provided for you so you do not need to bring kitchen utensils.

What you need to do before you arrive

  • Bedding Packs:  if you need to purchase a basic bedding pack you will need to do book via the online store before you arrive
  • University Card: to gain access to your hall and other buildings you will need to get a University Card. Please see information on the University Card for further details.
  • Insurance: check your Insurance cover and visit the Endsleigh website if you need to top up your cover.  
  • A-Z Guide on living in Halls: Please read your A-Z Guide and contact us if you have any queries or concerns prior to arrival about your life in halls.
  • Arrival plans:  Make sure you check our Arrival Information for guidance on how you check into your halls and collect your keys.
