For applicants who are coming to study on a full time course, in the first instance, we can accept scanned copies of transcript/certificates confirming the final overall award of qualifications. If scanned copies are provided we can update offers accordingly, but applicants will still be required to bring original hard copy proof of results to registration.
Please upload your scanned documents to your MyNottingham account.
If you have been asked to provide evidence of your qualifications (for example if you are studying a part time course or via distance learning), we will need to see original proof or official certified copies of your original transcript/certificate. If you can bring your documents in person, please do so as soon as is convenient. Alternatively we can accept an official certified copy of your original transcript/certificate confirming the award of your qualifications via post. You can send your certified documents to us at the following address:

A certified copy is a photocopy of the original document that has been officially stamped to confirm that it is a true copy of the original. This can be done at the University/institution that issued the document, at some Post Offices or other official bodies. If you are an international student and are meeting with a member of International Office staff in your country, they can verify and certify copies of your documents on the spot so please bring the documents (originals and copies) with you when you meet us. You can also take your documents to our offices in Nottingham, Accra, Kuala Lumpur, Shanghai and Veracruz for verification in person.
