From a cricket world cup winning wicket keeper to an international diplomat, Deryck Murray (Industrial Economics, 1972) is a one-of-a-kind alumnus. Back in Nottingham to collect an Alumni Laureate Award, we caught up with the West Indies legend to talk cricket, Nottingham memories and his fascinating professional career.

Calling all arts graduates – your University needs you!

Only 3 days to go – join our sponsored bike ride this weekend and support breast cancer research

After setting off from Cornwall almost two weeks ago, our Vice-Chancellor and team of Life Cycle 6 endurance cyclists have entered the home stretch as they finally cross the border into Scotland on their epic 1,400 bike ride to raise funds for breast cancer research. Their journey ends when they join hundreds of fellow cyclists taking part in our sponsored bike ride this Sunday 4 September. Will you one of them? The weather is looking good!
