This international conference organised by Taiwan Studies Programme (TSP) at the University of Nottingham will take place on 28-29 June 2018.

The main objective of this conference is to engage active discussions on Taiwan's domestic politics and foreign policies, including the New Southbound Policy, among European, North American and Asian scholars.

We will also invite guests from the media, think tanks and civic groups from Taiwan to enhance the impact of this conference. We expect to make critical appraisals of Taiwan's engagement in the broader Asia region, especially Southeast and South Asia, and hope to exchange thoughts on Taiwan's future from diverse perspectives.
