Reproduction research

Our primary research focus is on the physiology of reproduction in mammals, particularly in relation to improving or regulating fertility. Our researchers work mostly on domestic species and relate findings to human and animal medicine.

The main focus of research in reproductive biology is upon andrology, embryology and early development, ovarian function, placental biology, reproductive management, reproductive health and reproductive development.

Studies focusing on the development of fertile oocytes and ovulation complement cutting-edge research on pluripotency and nuclear reprogramming and nuclear transfer technology.
