Research Topic:
Nonprofit-Business Partnership The Social Construction of Value

Research Details:
This doctoral research tracks the evolution of a time-limited cross-sector social partnership (CSSP) between a corporation and a nonprofit organization, in real time. The empirical setting is the case of an evolving dyadic partnership between a credit card company and a young people's charity in the United Kingdom.

The guiding research question is "How do actors involved in nonprofit-business partnership discursively construct value for their own organizations, for each other and for intended beneficiaries, through their interactions?". This positions the thesis to investigate in detail how partnership interaction works, which is an under-researched aspect of CSSPs.
