Business School Sponsors First Ever East Midlands Chamber Generation Next Awards

The East Midlands Chamber has launched the inaugural Generation Next Awards 2021 and entries are open. Part of the East Midlands Chamber's new Generation Next network for professionals and business owners, the awards are open to professionals across the region who are between 18 and 35 years old.

Celebrating young East Midlands talent

Generation Next is a new initiative from the Chamber designed to recognise and showcase the success of young business people and entrepreneurs. Through a programme of networking events and skills-focused workshops, it aims to connect members with like-minded people, develop their skills, and open up new opportunities.

It is also an opportunity for employers to celebrate the contributions their young employees make to their organisations. 

Seven categories of awards span a broad spectrum of people in organisations - from apprentices to business leaders.

The Breakthrough Award

Nottingham University Business School is sponsoring the Breakthrough Award, which recognises new businesses established in the past three years that have achieved consistent growth backed by strong financial performance under the leadership of a young professional.

Entrants will also be able to demonstrate current activity to grow market share and the effect this is having on business performance.
