Nottingham University Business School is one of the key partners in delivering the new Government-subsidised Help to Grow programme in the East Midlands.

Accredited by the Small Business Charter, we’re offering you a fantastic opportunity to join other business leaders on the Help to Grow: Management programme, designed to support small and medium sized businesses to accelerate business growth, reach new customers and boost profits.

Increase your leadership capabilities and your business’s performance by taking part in this practical management training programme covering all aspects of management, including finance and strategies for growth and innovation.

The programme is 90% subsidised by the Government, so the cost to participants is just £750.

Help to Grow: Management

This new, executive development programme is designed to fit alongside your work commitments.

It’s a blended learning programme, so participants will attend both in-person and remote sessions.

The 12-week programme offers:

  • a practical curriculum
  • one to one support from a business mentor
  • peer-learning sessions
  • membership of an alumni network of like-minded businesses and university specialists

By the end of the course, you will develop a tailored, sustainable growth plan to lead your business to its full potential.

Modules include:

  • Financial management
  • Innovation
  • Digital adoption

Eligibility for Help to Grow

To be eligible, businesses need to have operated in the UK for over a year and have between five to 249 employees.

Participants should be a key decision-maker or member of the senior management team of the business, and the business must not have participated in the Small Business Leadership Programme, a Government-funded training programme for senior leaders in SMEs.
