Dr. Bertrand Perrat is the Geospatial lead within the N-LAB. He holds a PhD in Geospatial Sciences and his expertise is focused on developing and deploying novel data driven algorithms that facilitate decision making in various commercial and policy context with a particular focus on geospatial information. Focusing on real-world challenges, he directly works with numerous leading national and international companies (see the http://neodemographics.org N-Lab website for an up-to-date list).

Current Research Activities
His current research focuses on the efficient and effective processing of large, geo-spatially enabled data sets in order to better understand, summarise and predict human behaviour while ensuring appropriate interpretability for real world impact. This ranges from summarising behaviours of a specific population to the detection of potential slavery industries from satellite imagery.
