This course is taught by the UK's leading experts in banking, finance, economics, and risk who are members of the Business School's Centre for Risk, Banking and Financial Services. It blends banking with cutting edge finance enabling you to become an expert in bank operations and management.

You will develop an advanced understanding of how to apply financial theory and practice and key financial methods to bank management. You will encounter both internationally renowned academics and leading experts from the banking industry.

The course is ideal for you if:

  • as an undergraduate you studied management, accountancy, economics and/or finance
  • you are currently working in the financial sector and want to sharpen your banking skills
  • you're an academic/researcher in banking and finance
  • you are currently a banking practitioner in domestic, international and central world banks or work in the finance/financial markets department of an international bank and want to progress into a high level managerial position

The Chartered Banker Institute (CBI)

The course is fully accredited by the CBI.

You will graduate with an MSc in Banking and Finance and can apply for full member status and use the designation Chartered Banker status.
