Finding a PhD Supervisor

As PhD students you will be guided by supervisors with appropriate research expertise and interests. We advise you to contact potential PhD supervisors directly to discuss your application.

You do not need to identify a supervisor before you apply but it is helpful if a potential supervisor is already interested in your project. If you are unable to contact a member of academic staff we can search for a supervisor for you.

To find a potential supervisor, explore the staff members named in the academic area you are interested in to see their research interests, publications and expertise.
