Executive MBA Healthcare
This course is designed for those who want to continue their focus on the healthcare sector, while also receiving a broad MBA education.
You will study essential areas of management – including leadership, marketing, operations management and entrepreneurship. In addition, you will undertake two healthcare modules, led by academics whose research focusses on healthcare management and by invited experts from the healthcare sector.
Core modules include:
- Ethics, governance and risk
- Commissioning and service redesign
- Healthcare finance and economics
The course was co-designed with local NHS partners and we continue to develop its content to ensure that the content is up to date and relevant to participants. It is designed to respond to the changing global and UK landscape by developing competitive solutions to manage the competing demands of service users, commissioners and regulators.
All Executive MBA students also undertake a management project and the MBA Healthcare students focus on projects relevant to their own work in healthcare.
The programme can be completed in two to four years and you can choose from several starting points throughout the year.
The Executive MBA Healthcare is supported by the Centre for Health Innovation, Leadership and Learning (CHILL) – an internationally renowned research centre, dedicated to improving and innovation healthcare management and leadership.
