Entrepreneurs in infrastructure - the architects of economic transformation

Since the industrial revolution, the visionary determination of entrepreneurs to create innovative infrastructure solutions has driven industrial change, evolving the economy and transforming society. Today, the role of entrepreneurs and private investors remains a key enabler of economic growth.

A civil engineer and business leader with over 30 years' experience in the infrastructure industry, Andrew McNaughton has delivered many of the UK's major infrastructure projects including Terminals 2 and 5 at Heathrow. His current role as Director of Construction at Tidal Lagoon Power sees him lead the development of solutions to our future energy needs through tidal power, redefining the sector worldwide.
