Technology disruption and its impact on finance

When: Tuesday 7 May 2019, 6 - 9pm
Where: GSK Building ( number 31 on our map), Jubilee Campus, University of Nottingham

From online banking to contactless payments, financial technology – or Fintech for short – is rapidly changing how we spend, save, borrow and invest. So as it continues to transform just about every corner of global finance, what challenges and opportunities lie ahead?

In an exclusive event on 7 May, we’ll be joined by leading Fintech experts for an illuminating panel discussion led by Professor Meryem Duygun, Nottingham Fintech Research Network lead and Aviva Chair in Risk and Insurance at Nottingham University Business School. With a focus on artificial intelligence and data, the panel will consider key industrial strategy challenges, with opportunities for audience questions and discussion.

Following the panel discussion, network with Fintech experts and fellow alumni over drinks as you share ideas about the future of our financial institutions.
