Yang Wei of CICCS wins 'Sparks' Poster Competition
Yang Wei of CICCS recently attended the sixth annual UKERC Summer School, hosted by the University of Warwick. More than 100 students from all over the world gathered to attend this event.
Lecture topics included climate change, social aspects of energy, and carbon capture and storage technologies.
The 'Sparks' Poster Competition attracted lots of interest and was the most well attended event of the Summer School, with 70 outstanding students racing for first place! All the researchers presented first-rate posters, but there could only be one winner... and that was our very own Yang!
Yang's poster featured an excellent synthesis of her research into the effects of 'impure' CO2 on soil.
Congratulations Yang on a well deserved first prize!
