Hear from past mentees and mentors

Hear from Nerissa Culi, a fourth-year neuroscience student who joined eMentoring to gain inspiration and insight for her future career.

Amy Prosser is a Research Scientist at Sygnature Discovery. Listen to her reasons for becoming a mentor, and what she believes students gain from the scheme.

What did they gain from the scheme?

I think that you can only really know what an industry is like from somebody who has been in it. So I really wanted to hear first-hand experience of what my future career might be like.

- Laura Maginley, 2016 biology graduate

My mentor checked over my CV and set up mock interview questions which was extremely useful. [He also provided] an insight into his day-to-day activities.

- Sahya Haria, BSc Environmental Biology
