Engineering Employability Week 2019

Welcome to Engineering Employability Week

Whether you’re in your first or final year, this conference-style programme of workshops will give you the chance to find out about opportunities in engineering – from placements and internships to graduate jobs.

You will not only get insights into the engineering jobs market, but learn how to navigate it with confidence through a series of employer-led skills workshops. 

The programme is run in collaboration between the Careers team, the Faculty Placement team and top employers.

Engineering Employability Week 2019

Monday 10 June - searching for graduate jobs and internships

The morning break will be at 10.45am-11am and the lunch break 12.30-1.30pm.

Tuesday 11 June - the recruitment process

The morning break is 11-11.30am, allowing time for networking with the lunch break 12.20-1.30pm.

There will be a 10-minute wrap-up session at 4.20pm.


Wednesday 13 June - assessment centre activities and psychometric tests

The lunch break will be 12.20-1.30pm and the afternoon break at 2.45-3pm

There will be a 10-minute wrap-up session at 4.15pm in Pope A13.


Thursday 14 June and Friday 15 June - drop-in and booked appointments

Drop in sessions - no need to book a time
