Globe Café is all about having fun, meeting people from different cultures and discussing some of the big questions of life while enjoying hot drinks and cakes. The cafés are a friendly place especially for international students and happen on Monday or Tuesday evenings during term time, at four different locations so that you can attend the one closest to where you live and study. Where do the cafés happen?
The cafés run in Beeston, just by the West Entrance of University Park; in Lenton, on Castle Boulevard; in the City Centre and on the Sutton Bonington Campus. The map below shows the different locations:

The café meets at Beeston Free Church (NG9 2FY), which is next to Broadgate Park. It is especially for students from Broadgate Park, University Park, Beeston and Dunkirk and it runs from 8-10pm on Monday evenings during term time. If you'd like to find out more, you can email email@example.com.
The café meets at St Nics Church (NG1 6AE) on Maid Marian Way in the centre of Nottingham. It is especially for students who live in the City Centre, or who find it easy to get to the City Centre and it runs from 7.30-9.30pm on Monday evenings during term time. The café meets at Cornerstone Church (NG7 1FP) on Castle Boulevard. It is especially for students from Jubilee Campus, Raleigh Park, Opal 1, St. Peter's Court, Wollaton and Lenton and it runs from 7.30-9.30pm on Monday evenings during term time. The café meets in the Graduate Centre, C floor of the Barn on Sutton Bonington Campus. It is especially for students from Sutton Bonington and the surrounding areas and it runs from 7-8.30pm on Tuesday evenings during term time. If you'd like to find out more, you can email Val Owens.
What is happening this term?
The cafés at Beeston and Lenton run the same programme. Each week, there will be free tea, coffee, soft drinks and cakes and an opportunity to chat and get to know new people. At every Globe Café, there is also a theme for the week, and these will be published on this page once they have been confirmed.
Can I just come along?
Yes, if you want to see what a Globe Café is like, then the best way is to come along and find out for yourself! You don't need an invitation, you don't need to dress up smartly, just try it out and enjoy the evening.
