Nottingham Periodic Table

2019 has been named the International Year of the Periodic Table. This is in part due to the University of Nottingham's Professor Sir Martyn Poliakoff and and his team's success with the Periodic Table of Videos.

Have your say!

The University of Nottingham would like to celebrate this year by creating a Nottingham version of the Periodic Table, with each symbol standing for a notable person from the area or a Nottingham landmark. For example Fr – Friar Tuck, Pa – Paul Smith, Eu – ‘Ey Up Mi Duck’.

The completed Nottingham Periodic Table will be unveiled at this year’s Wonder event in June which will also have a Periodic Table theme.
