  • Our courses have been designed to foster critical thinking and to develop your analytical skills – this is achieved by addressing a broad range of material.
  • Our teaching and research is at the forefront of developments in film and television studies, cultural and media studies, art history, visual studies and critical theory.
  • When appropriate, seminars are held in the Djanogly Art Gallery, in the Castle Museum and Art Gallery in Nottingham or Nottingham Contemporary.
  • Postgraduate students benefit from leading research expertise across a number of areas of specialism.

Due to the coronavirus restrictions we have had to suspend the following courses for 2020 entry:

We intend to run these courses again from September 2021.
