Study and Work at CMMB

Do you have an interest in using mathematics to look at medical or biological problems? If so, then the Centre for Mathematical Medicine and Biology (CMMB) at the University of Nottingham has plenty to offer.

Details of both taught and research degree courses on offer within the School of Mathematics can be found on our degree pages. Current research projects for a PhD are listed under the Mathematical Medicine and Biology group - this includes relevant projects within Statistics and Probability.

We are happy to receive applications for research fellowships . We encourage you to contact us well in advance of the deadline so we can offer you our fullest support. Academics or experienced postdoctoral researchers keen to apply for an ERC grant to work with us at Nottingham are also welcome. ERC grants, and most fellowships, are available to researchers of any nationality.

Current Vacancies

Funded PhD studentships are currently available through the Leverhulme Doctoral Scholarships scheme, our new Doctoral Training Centre as well as several individual projects.
