I received my Master degree in Computer Science in 2014 from Instituto Tecnológico de León, MX. I am currently a research fellow within the Intelligent Modelling and Analysis research group at the University of Nottingham in the UK. My research is focused on investigating the potential of Fuzzy Sets (both Type-1 and Type-2) and developing artificial intelligence approaches in the context of capture and analysis of uncertain information in human health (e.g., dementia treatment, post-sarcoma surgery quality of life monitoring). A particular emphasis is the modelling and evaluation of information to enable both automated decision making as well as enhanced support for human decision making. My research has been made in collaboration with Instituto de la Memoria (Gerontological Centre in Mexico) and recently with the Nottingham City Hospital.

The focus of my research is on investigating the potential of capturing and analysing subjective information in the context of human health (e.g., dementia, post-sarcoma surgery, quality of life) to enable enhanced support for human decision making.
Recently my research has been made with the East Midlands Sarcoma Service where we focused on exploring Computacional Intelligence techniques as means for modelling and aggregation of human perception data coming from self-completed questionnaires. Such exploration considered: Fuzzy Set based modelling techniques, Interval Arithmetic, Fuzzy Integrals and Data-driven Fuzzy Measures for aggregation.
