It is important the University is aware as soon as possible of all cases of Covid-19 in our community of staff, students and visitors, as well as those with symptoms or who are required to self-isolate.
This will help us take swift action where appropriate to minimise the risk to others and enable us to liaise with external bodies such as Public Health England and local authorities to ensure that actions are effective and proportionate. As per UK government guidelines, if you have symptoms of coronavirus you and all members of your household must self-isolate until you have your test results.

Depending on where you live, we may be able to bring a postal testing kit to your door if you are unable to use the drive-through testing facility in Nottingham city centre. We may also be able to support you with essential supplies during your isolation.
If you are self-isolating and/or have symptoms of Covid-19 and/or have received a test result from either the NHS or the University's testing service, let us know as soon as possible.

Staff notification process
Please complete the form below or call 0115 748 4800 regardless of whether or not you have been on campus in the last few days. You should also notify your line manager in addition, of any absence or difficulties caused by illness or self-isolation.
If you have already informed us that you are isolating and subsequently need to let us know the outcome of a Covid-19 test, please do so within 48 hours by either phoning the HR telephone helpline on 0115 748 4800 or by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
