Brewery to be built at University
A fully functioning micro-brewery is to be built at the University's Sutton Bonington Campus.

East-meets-west graduation first
A unique Pharmacy degree course in which students split their studies between The University of Nottingham’s Malaysia campus and the UK campus in Nottingham is celebrating its first graduation.
The Tri-Campus Games saw 180 athletes from the campuses in the UK, China and Malaysia competing in a number of events. The UK team racked up 192 points, with Malaysia Campus in second place with 146 and China with 128. Watch the highlights from the Games on YouTube.
The University of Nottingham has won a prestigious Times Higher Education award for its transformation of a brownfield site into an ‘outstanding’ modern campus. Judges praised the cutting-edge sustainable design and construction principles used in this latest phase of development — a £30m expansion of the Jubilee Campus that features architecturally stunning new buildings and the tallest freestanding sculpture in the UK.

The Nottingham Geospatial Building is the new scheme on the Innovation Park sited opposite the Amenities Building on Jubilee Campus. The University has joined forces with the east midlands development agency (emda) to create a new world-class centre of excellence in Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS) with a total investment of £9.2m. A landmark new building at The University of Nottingham’s Jubilee Campus has won a prestigious award for its innovative design and its contribution to science and innovation. The Sir Colin Campbell Building was named ‘Nottingham Science City Development Project 2009’ at the Nottingham Evening Post Commercial Property Awards.
A stunning new landmark building at The University of Nottingham has won international recognition for sustainable design — scooping two awards on different sides of the world. The Centre for Sustainable Energy Technologies (CSET), at The University of Nottingham Ningbo, China, took first prize in a competition recognising the best in sustainable construction at an international property event in Cannes.
