Economics at Nottingham performs well across the board, with 96% of students satisfied with the quality of their course in the most recent National Student Survey (the highest satisfaction rating among Russell Group universities).

The school also ranked 6th in the UK for research power in the latest Research Excellence Framework, 5th in The Times and Sunday Times Good University Guide 2017 and 7th in the Complete University Guide 2018.
