I am a first year PhD candidate at the School of Economics. I completed BA (Hons) in Economics from the University of Delhi and MSc in Development Economics from the University of Birmingham.

Current Research

My research interests are in the field of development economics, particularly in impact evaluation of policies aimed at poverty alleviation, education and gender equality. I am currently working on privatization of education in India. I am jointly supervised by Professor Richard Upward and Dr Trudy Owens.
