Biography

Cindy joined the School of Economics as a Teaching Associate in September 2017, where she also completed her PhD in Economics and MSc in Economics and Econometrics. Prior to that, she obtained a BSSs in China Studies - Economics from the Hong Kong Baptist University.

Teaching Summary

For Academic Year 2017/18 I am a lecturer and co-convenor for the following modules:

  • Undergraduate Level 3: L13500 Economics Dissertation (lectures on research methods)
  • Undergraduate Level 3: L13620 Topics in Econometrics

Cindy's research interests are in the areas of Applied Microeconomics, Labour Economics and Experimental Economics. Her research is mainly concerned with labour market search, uses methods of experimental economics as well as draws on field data. She is also interested gender differences and moral behaviour.
